It was silent except for the noise coming from the flat screen tvs on the trading floor. It seemed as if the corporate world had been put on hold for a moment. Work was forgotten, desks were empty and there was no cheerful banter around the water cooler. I looked around for a moment wondering where all had gone until I found all of my coworkers gathered around the tvs, silent. Wait, was the world coming to an end? NO our CEO was on msnbc talking about a product we trade.
Ok my story didn't end very well, but it was pretty crazy to see... or not. Just another moment in the corporate life.
